Terms of Service

These terms apply to all services provided by One Blue Pixel, operated by Joshua as a sole trader based in Falkirk, Central Scotland.

Services

I provide web design, local SEO, Google Business Profile management, and related digital marketing services as described on this website and agreed in writing before work begins.

Quotes and payment

  • All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
  • Website projects require 50% payment before work begins and 50% on completion, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Monthly hosting and management plans are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time with 30 days' notice.
  • One-off services are payable in full before work begins.

Website ownership

You own your website, domain name, and all content from day one. If you cancel your monthly plan, you keep everything. I will assist with migration if requested.

I retain the right to display the work in my portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.

Revisions

Website projects include reasonable revisions during the build process. Revisions requested after the site goes live are handled as part of your monthly plan or quoted as one-off work.

Third-party services

Some services involve third-party platforms (domain registrars, hosting providers, Google, social media platforms). I am not responsible for changes, outages, or policy updates by these providers.

Cancellation

  • Monthly plans: Cancel anytime with 30 days' notice. No penalty. You keep your website.
  • Projects in progress: If you cancel a project before completion, payment is due for work already completed.

Liability

I take reasonable care to deliver quality work, but I cannot guarantee specific search rankings, traffic volumes, or business outcomes. Digital marketing results depend on many factors outside my control.

My total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
