Web Design

Website redesign services for sites that aren't working

I rebuild websites from Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, and anywhere else. Faster, better looking, and built to actually bring in business.

You know something's not right

If you're looking for website redesign services, chances are something isn't right with your current site. Maybe it takes forever to load. Maybe it looks like it was built five years ago, because it was. Maybe you're embarrassed to share the URL with potential customers. Maybe you're getting traffic but nobody's actually getting in touch.

Or maybe you just can't update the thing. You're stuck on Wix or Squarespace and every time you try to change something, the whole layout breaks. Or your WordPress site is so full of plugins it crashes once a month.

Whatever the reason, you know your current website isn't doing its job. A website redesign isn't about making it prettier. It's about making it work. Faster loading, better structure, proper SEO, and a layout that actually converts visitors into customers. The same web design standards I apply to every new build, applied to fixing what you already have.

Signs your website needs replacing

If any of these sound familiar, a redesign will make a real difference. Not sure if your site needs a full redesign? Start with a free website audit. I'll review your current site and tell you honestly whether it's worth saving or better to start fresh.

It loads slowly

Visitors leave if your site takes more than a few seconds. Slow sites also rank worse on Google. Most outdated sites are slow because of bloated code, unoptimised images, and unnecessary plugins.

It looks outdated

If your site looks like it hasn't been touched in years, visitors notice. First impressions happen in seconds. A dated design tells customers your business isn't keeping up.

It doesn't work on mobile

Over 60% of visitors are on a phone. If your site isn't mobile responsive, or it technically works but looks cramped and hard to use, you're losing more than half your potential customers.

You're not getting enquiries

If people visit but don't get in touch, the problem is usually structure. No clear call to action, contact details buried at the bottom, or a layout that confuses rather than guides.

You can't update it

If changing a phone number or adding a photo requires a developer, your site is holding you back. Or worse, your previous developer has disappeared and nobody can access it.

You don't own it

Some platforms and agencies keep control of your domain, hosting, or code. If you can't take your website with you when you leave, you don't really own it.

The process

How a website redesign works

I don't patch up old sites. I rebuild from scratch on a modern platform, then migrate your content so nothing is lost. Your old site stays live until the new one is ready.

01

I review your current site

I look at what's working, what isn't, and what's worth keeping. Your content, your SEO rankings, your existing traffic. I'll tell you what needs to change and what we should protect.

02

I design something better

A completely new design built around your business and your customers. Not a reskin of the old layout. You see designs and give feedback before anything is built.

03

I build and migrate

Your new site is built in parallel while the old one stays live. Content, images, and any SEO value are migrated across. Redirects are set up so no existing links break.

04

Launch and support

When you're happy, we switch over. The old site goes away, the new one goes live. I set up analytics, monitoring, and your monthly support plan to keep everything running.

I rebuild from any platform

It doesn't matter where your current site lives. I'm based in Falkirk and I've migrated businesses across Scotland and the UK from Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, GoDaddy, Weebly, and custom-built sites. I handle the full migration: content, images, domain transfer, email setup, and redirect mapping so you don't lose any search engine rankings.

If your previous developer has gone quiet and you don't have access to your own site, I can help with that too. I've recovered domains, migrated hosting, and rebuilt sites from scratch when the original developer disappeared.
