The situation

The owner of Shafi Dental Care moved over from the United States and bought an existing dental practice. New ownership meant a new name, and the practice needed a website to match it. For a healthcare business that trades on trust, a mismatched or dated online presence costs patients before anyone walks through the door.

He was also understandably cautious. He had had poor experiences with web companies before and was wary of hiring an external one again. He found me through the Bricks expert directory, a vetted listing of developers who build on the Bricks builder for WordPress, which gave him the confidence to get in touch.

What I did

I built a new website for the practice under its updated name. The priority was a site that looks professional and reassuring, makes it obvious what treatments are offered, and lets a local patient find opening hours and book an appointment without friction. It was structured for local search from the start, because the overwhelming majority of new patients find a dentist by searching nearby.

Where they are now

Shafi Dental Care are on an ongoing local SEO contract to improve their visibility for dental searches in their area. A big part of that is getting the practice listed correctly across the directories and citations that local search depends on, which I handle through citation building, alongside strengthening their Google Business Profile and the on-site foundations. The work is ongoing, and the goal is steady, durable improvement in local rankings rather than a quick spike. After his earlier doubts about web companies, he is now very happy with the result and stays on an ongoing plan.
