Let's Get StartedHow many pages does a website need?
A standard 5-page website is going to consist of a homepage (landing page), about, services, pricing and a contact page.
From here you can build out individual service pages, location pages and unique pages that fit your industry to rank for more keywords and topics around your business.
How much will a custom website cost?
A traditional agency is likely going to charge you a minimum £1000 for a custom website. We like to operate a little bit differently.
Our pricing model allows you to pay for your website on a monthly basis with no upfront costs, starting from as low as £49 per month.
What is a Google Business Profile?
Your Google Business Profile is where you list your business on Google to be listed for your services. Setting up your profile is free, but without proper optimisation you are likely missing out on a ton of leads and free search traffic.
What is Local SEO?
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is what we use to improve your digital reach. We optimize for relevant search results that fit your business, increasing the chance that a potential customer finds you.
Local SEO is that same process but specifically for businesses offering local services (roofers, cleaners etc). This is how we rank your business in Google and help you find more work.
Can I build a website for free?
There are a range of website builders that let you get started for free (Wix, Squarespace).
The problem with them is you are either going to end up with something basic and unoptimized, or spend tens of hours trying to customise and build what you want (if you even get there!)
Should I pay for digital marketing?
Are you happy with your current client base? Not looking to take on more work? Then probably not.
But if you are open to new work or aware that things can change, investing in SEO and digital marketing is a great way to future-proof your business and keep generating new leads.
Where should I get customer reviews?
Customer reviews are one of the top ranking signals for your Google Business Profile and a great way to build trust with potential clients.
We recommend funneling reviews to your Google Business Profile, with a small spread across other relevant platforms (Trustpilot, Checkatrader etc)
Does my website need maintenance?
WordPress websites will need regular plugin checks and updates to maintain the security of your site. These checks are a great time to analyse for any SEO improvements, page speed improvements that can be made or just update some outdated content.
How do I host a website?
There are a ton of hosting platforms where you can host your WordPress website, including managed hosting & shared hosting for cost saving solutions.
If you are not interested in dealing with the technical details, we offer fully managed hosting for all our clients.
What is responsive web design?
Responsive web design is where your website will work across all device types. If I go to your website on my desktop and you go to your website on your phone, we will both have a fluid user experience.
Non responsive websites are terrible for users and search engines are likely to punish your website too.
Luckily, all websites we build are 100% mobile responsive, fully tested and any new content we add is also tested across multiple devices.
